MiCHAEL Durance

Michael Durance has over 25 years of experience in executive leadership and capital markets in the Technology industry. Before founding xiVENTURES Fund Inc. with the other Directors, Michael was CEO of Call Genie Inc., a local search and digital media mobile advertising platform. Prior to this he was vice president and general manager of the Digital Solutions division of Toshiba America Information Systems. As leader and visionary of several business units, he was charged with bringing together Toshiba's telecommunications, imaging, hotspots, PDA and laptop technology into bundled mobility solutions. Prior to Toshiba, Mr. Durance was corporate vice president of the Integrated Solutions Group for ADC Telecommunications, Inc., a data transmission products company. Prior to ADC, he was Asia Pacific managing director and chairman, senior vice president of Global Consulting Services, and vice president of Product Management for Saville Systems, a telecommunications software company. Other positions include numerous senior management and International positions at Nortel Networks.

Mike Hamilton

Mike is an accomplished leader and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the fields of IT consulting and talent management, as well as VC investment and mentorship in early-stage tech companies. His varied career has resulted in a breadth of expertise in all aspects of running a business, including business development, finance, operations, and resource management. An honest and open approach has been the hallmark of Mike’s professional career. Mike holds a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Toronto.  

Glenn Pociluyko

Glenn helped establish xiBOSS in 2002 following an extensive career in the software/consulting world, including senior positions in software development & delivery business units in Canada, the United States, Europe and Australia. He has broad experience developing professional staff, leading teams in successful solution roll-outs around the globe, and guiding professional service offices to - and through - significant growth, in both resources and revenues. Glenn was instrumental in the founding of xiVENTURES and is currently a director.

Tony Duckett

Tony has a proven track record in leadership roles across the Telecommunications, software development, and consulting industries, bringing a wealth of experience to the table. His career has taken him to six countries on five continents, where he has cultivated a deep understanding of diverse markets and business practices.

He recently celebrated a successful exit from the tech staffing industry, which has allowed him to pivot his focus toward supporting companies in their growth journey within Canada. Whether partnering with local start-ups or assisting foreign enterprises in establishing their presence, he’s dedicated to fostering innovation and sustainable growth.

As a Director at xiVentures Fund, Tony actively engaged with the dynamic Toronto start-up ecosystem, contributing to the development of new ventures and initiatives. Additionally, as a member of the Global Startups Advisory Board, he collaborates with industry leaders to share insights and drive impactful strategies.
